Split four ways, your home county search still carries most of your traffic

This review is about who your website brings in. The site has real depth behind it: over 40 genuine educational articles on batteries, inverters, off-grid systems, grants and schools, a working phone line, and a business trading since 2013. Almost none of that content is aimed at a search that converts. Your home county term, "solar panels carlow," already carries most of your traffic, split across four competing pages instead of held by one. The generic word "solar" alone, 1,300 searches a month, ranks 60th from the homepage and 93rd from a second page, neither close to page one. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

A real win, spread thinner than it needs to be

77 searches are tracked against this site. "Solar panels carlow" alone accounts for most of your 32 monthly visits, split across four separate pages that all currently target it.

Carlow proves the site can win a real search outright. The same discipline hasn't reached anywhere else: the generic "solar" searches, schools, and commercial all have real pages built for them, and none currently rank well enough to bring in a visit.

Bottom line: Carlow works. It's just doing the job of four pages instead of one.
02 The specifics

Three things holding the numbers back

The site's real educational content and working contact details are already doing their job. These are the structural issues underneath them.

Duplicate
Four live pages compete for the identical Carlow search
Two rows from the homepage, /commercial-solar/, and /contact/ are all live and all currently ranking for "solar panels carlow." Google splits credit across all four instead of trusting one.
Missing
No visible main heading on the homepage
There's no H1 anywhere on the homepage. Google and a first-time visitor both have to work out what the page is about without the one heading that's supposed to say it plainly.
Weak
The 40-plus articles are educational, not aimed at a sale
Real, useful content exists on batteries, inverters, off-grid systems and grants. None of it is built the way the Carlow page was, around a specific buying search with a clear target.
Worth noticing

This is not a design problem, it is steady monthly work. The Carlow search already proves the model. Consolidating it into one strong page and applying that same discipline to "solar," schools and commercial is the direct path to more of what's already working.

Bottom line: One search proves the approach works. The rest of the real content hasn't had the same treatment yet.
03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your Google listing
Your current listing sells the business well. It doesn't name Carlow, your one working search.
What Google shows now

Solarstream - Solarstream I Business Solar Experts
Solarstream Ireland, saving businesses electricity costs with PV solar energy systems and solar panel installations since 2013
What it should show

Fix 2 · Consolidate the Carlow pages
One strong page beats four competing ones.
Keep the homepage as the target for "solar panels carlow" → owner: adjust /commercial-solar/ and /contact/ so they stop directly targeting the identical phrase
Homepage H1 → owner: add a real, visible main heading, currently missing entirely
Fix 3 · The remaining quick fixes
Small, checkable, no rebuild involved.
/commercial-solar/ → owner: also the site's only page for "commercial solar panels" (110/mo), worth sharpening once Carlow is consolidated

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

The searches in this report add up to

2,000 searches every month (solar, solar panels for schools, and commercial solar panels).

Around 32 visits a month currently arriving, almost all from Carlow and one battery article.

One real win, currently split across four of your own pages.

Solar, solar panels for schools and commercial solar panels together add up to 2,000 people a month searching for exactly what Solarstream does, and almost none of it currently reaches you. You know how many of those searches turn into a job for you, and what a job is worth. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Bottom line: One county proves the approach works. The generic searches are the same opportunity, still split and unclaimed.
Why sooner beats later

Your tracked keyword count is falling, down 7.2% on the last read. Consolidating Carlow and building a real page for the bigger generic searches is a way to add new ground while that decline is still small enough to reverse easily.
